Free hosting, as is
We host your Minecraft server for free, without warranties or guaranteed uptime.
Your server, your responsibility
You answer for everything that happens on it. Under 16? You need a parent's or guardian's permission.
Not allowed
Illegal content, attacks on other servers, crypto mining, faked player counts, and extra accounts used to get around limits.
Unused free servers sleep
Offline for 7 days: archived until you start it again. Not started for 30 days: deleted, with reminders first.
Keep your own backups
Our backups help, but we aren't responsible if data is lost.
Breaking the rules
Servers that break these terms, abuse the service or overload our hardware can be suspended or removed. Dutch law applies.
01Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using SwiftServers ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
02Description of Service
SwiftServers provides free Minecraft server hosting. While we strive to provide a high-quality experience, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties.
03User Conduct and Responsibilities
Users are responsible for all activity on their servers. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Using the service for any illegal activities.
- Attempting to bypass server resource limits or security measures.
- Spoofing, faking, or artificially inflating player counts on the Minecraft network, including by using fake players, bots, proxies, or plugins that misrepresent real player activity.
- Using alternative accounts to create or maintain multiple servers in order to bypass account, server, or fair-use limits.
- Hosting content that violates copyrights or intellectual property rights.
- Attacking or interfering with the Service or other users' servers, including DDoS activity.
- Using servers for non-gaming purposes such as crypto mining or web crawling.
04Resource Usage and Fair Play
To ensure a fair experience for all users, we reserve the right to monitor resource usage. Servers that consistently exceed reasonable resource limits or negatively impact our infrastructure may be suspended or terminated without notice.
05Account Inactivity
A free server that stays offline for 7 days is hibernated: its files are archived and come back when you start it again. A free server that isn't started for 30 days is deleted, with reminders in the panel 7, 3 and 1 days before. We recommend regular backups of your world data.
06Data and Backups
While we provide a backup system, SwiftServers is not responsible for any data loss. Users are encouraged to maintain their own external backups of critical server data.
07Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwiftServers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits or revenues, or loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
08Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the new terms on this site. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
09Minors
Our services are not intended for children under 16 without parental or guardian consent. If you are under 16, you must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before using SwiftServers.
10Termination and Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts and servers where these Terms are violated, where abuse is detected, or where operation of an account poses security or infrastructure risks.
11Availability
SwiftServers is provided without a guaranteed uptime or uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, network issues, third-party outages, and force majeure events may temporarily impact access.
12Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Where legally permitted, disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the competent courts in the Netherlands.
